Hi everyone!
I am Mei Ling Chu, I go by Zan. I am super excited to work on the food storage system project. I am a PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering, minor in MS&E. I am interested in exploring different strategies in deployment and operation of a sustainable food storage design in cities under development, like Anam City. I have worked on previous ESW class projects (Indonesia Tsunami Risk Project) and have been following ESW’s activities and I think ESW is really doing great work here by bringing in engineering design and technology to improve local condition in developing countries — my motivation to join the project:)
Fun fact about me: my name Zan is the short form of Zankhana, which I made it up for myself 🙂
